I can remember meeting mum from work when she worked at forboys on buckland avenue & it had been snowing really heavy. We decided to go through the subway & come out the other side at brighton hill, when we got to the entrance the other side there was only a small gap in the snow to the side, so we scrambeld up the bank on our hands & knees & kept sliding down again , after numerous attempts we were laughing so much we just laid in the snow soaking wet & laughing, in the end we went on our hands & knees along the edge of the bank & made it home looking like two wild women, i will never forget my mum laughing like that, it was brilliant!
